Positive cabinet decision based on National Growth Fund Committee opinion for 6G Future Network Services programme
The government is conditionally investing 203 million from the National Growth Fund in the development of the next generation of mobile communication networks: 6G. The National Growth Fund Advisory Committee announced this on Friday. The Future Network Services consortium will receive 61 million in the first phase with a reservation of 142 million. With this support, the consortium, consisting of telecom companies, technical universities and knowledge institutions, among others, aims to develop a strong Dutch 6G ecosystem between 2024-2029.
