Appeal to political leaders: the time has come to prioritise AI

Leading Dutch voices in AI – Jelle Prins, Michiel Bakker, Renée Frissen and Stan van Baarsen – have called on the Dutch government to prioritise AI.  Their appeal has been signed by close to 200 supporters, including Topsector ICT.

Council of Ministers approves measures in 3% R&D action plan

The Dutch government has released a nine-point action plan to raise R&D investments from the current level of 2.2% to 3% by 2030. The plan seeks to reinvigorate innovation and maintain the Netherlands’ status as an EU innovation leader.
