Sign up to one of these six key international trade missions and events in the second half of 2025

In the second half of 2025, Topsector ICT and other key stakeholders will be co-organising various international trade missions and events that align with the National Technology Strategy (NTS). The following events are now open for registration – sign up today!

Ready to take your digitalisation and innovation ambitions global? Sign up now to one or more trade missions or events in the pipeline this year. As in the first half of 2025, Topsector ICT is co-organising several key international meetings in the second half of the 2025 events season. These events offer a gateway to new markets, business opportunities and insights, while also providing a chance to network and exchange knowledge.

Planned trade missions and events

The following trade and innovation missions, along with tech events, are planned for the rest of the year:

  • International kick-off of the Cybersecurity Week (including ONE Conference)
    Where: The Hague
    When: 29 September 2025 (the Security Week runs from 29 September to 3 October 2025 inclusive)
    Joining Topsector ICT: the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Security Delta (HSD), InnovationQuarter, the Municipality of The Hague

    Come to the HSD Campus in The Hague for the international kick-off and connect with peers and potential business partners from ten countries. You can also take part in the match-making programme. The event is open to international delegations and individual companies.

  • National 6G Conference (FNS partner event)
    Where: Delft University of Technology, Aula building
    When: 7 October 2025
    Joining Topsector ICT: Future Network Services (FNS), Delft University of Technology, BTG

    The combined FNS Partner Event and the National 6G conference is a major gathering of companies, researchers and innovators, showcasing the latest developments in 6G technology in the Netherlands. The event is organised by Future Network Services and supported by Delft University of Technology, Topsector ICT and BTG. The conference focuses on the Netherlands’ ambition to become a global champion in 6G innovation. The FNS consortium is a leader in 6G research and development, bringing together 60 businesses, knowledge institutes and government bodies

    SMEs can join a special track funded by Topsector ICT, thanks to support from MIT instruments (SME Innovation Stimulus for Regional and Top Sectors).

  • NL AI Ecosystem Day at World Summit AI
    Where: Amsterdam area
    When: 8-9 October 2025
    Joining Topsector ICT: Handelsroute, Kickstart AI, Regional Development Agencies for the Netherlands (ROM NL), AIC4NL

    The first day of this event marks NL AI Ecosystem Day and will feature a Dutch pavilion co-funded by Topsector ICT through the Strategic Trade Fairs Programme (SBP). NL AI Ecosystem Day is a unique event with round tables, match-making sessions and an exclusive networking dinner with investors, start-ups, scale-ups, researchers and policymakers from the Dutch AI landscape. All activities are within walking distance of each other and take place on Wednesday 8 October 2025.

    The day is part of the World Summit AI, held at the Taets Art and Event Park in Zaandam. The Summit is being organised within the wider context of the World AI Week. Running from 6 to 10 October, the World AI Week will host various AI-related events and is set to attract over 15,000 visitors.

  • Unlocking the Future of Digital Product Passports (DPPs)
    Where: The Hague
    When: 9 October 2025
    Joining Topsector ICT: Centre of Excellence for Data Sharing & Cloud (CoE-DSC)

    This one-day event offers a unique chance for all participants to connect and leverage the potential of DPPs, providing valuable insights and incentives to collaborate. The event is open to companies that have implemented DPPs or intend to apply them, policymakers, industry and umbrella organisations, DPP solutions providers and DPP experts.

  • Future of Compute innovation mission to the UK
    Where: London
    When: 10-13 November
    Joining Topsector ICT: The Ministry of Economic Affairs, British Embassy The Hague, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), AIC4NL and NMC.

    Are you active in AI, integrated photonics or neuromorphic computing and want to know more about the opportunities for research collaborations and business partnerships with peers in the UK? Then sign up to join the ‘Future of Compute’ innovation mission to London and the surrounding area! This mission is supported by Topsector ICT, Topsector High Tech Systems and Materials (HTSM), AIC4NL and PhotonDelta.

    The mission will be uniting the UK and Dutch compute ecosystems, focusing in particular on the topics of AI, integrated photonics and neuromorphic computing. It aims to identify areas of mutual support and provide opportunities to learn from each other about energy-efficient compute solutions.

    Future of Compute’s continued development hinges on collaborations within these three areas, rooted in shared goals, exchanges and a common language. This is all the more important given the key role of hardware and software codesign. The mission is therefore open to the entire ‘future of compute’ chain of stakeholders involved in materials, devices, circuit design, hardware, architecture, algorithms and applications. Potential end users may also register. Registration deadline: 1 September 2025.

  • Cybersecurity mission to Sweden
    Where: Stockholm
    When: 21 October to 23 October 2025
    Joining Topsector ICT: Embassy of the Netherlands in Stockholm, InnovationQuarter, Security Delta (HSD), the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO)

    Are you a cybersecurity business looking to expand to new markets? Then join the Cyber Mission Sweden (21 to 23 October 2025) to one of Europe’s most digitalised economies. Sweden has earned a reputation as a digital and cybersecurity powerhouse. Its government and businesses are looking for smart, scalable and collaborative cybersecurity solutions. As an innovative country with a robust public digital infrastructure, Sweden offers plenty of business opportunities for Dutch tech companies.
