Personal data that you provide on digitalholland.nl will only be used for the purpose for which you have submitted it. In doing so, Digital Holland complies with privacy legislation. No consent is requested on digitalholland.nl for the use of cookies, as they are used solely for analytical purposes and the data is not shared with third parties. This falls under the exception stated in the Dutch Telecommunications Act, Article 11.7A.
How does Digital Holland handle your personal data?
Would you like to request a brochure or receive a newsletter? In that case, Digital Holland will ask you to fill in your personal details on a form — for example, your name and (email) address. The form will specify which information Digital Holland collects and for what purpose.
We use your personal data only for the purpose for which you have provided it. For example, if you enter your name and address to receive a brochure, Digital Holland will not use this information to send you other brochures unless explicitly stated.
The legal basis for collecting personal data is consent. This means that personal data will only be stored with your permission. Data may, however, be used for law enforcement purposes, for example, if criminal offenses or illegal statements are made through the website.
When you create an account on any part of this website, we store your login details so that you can log in again the next time. These details are stored only for this purpose.
Retention period
Digital Holland does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which you provided it. Personal data related to the creation of an account is retained as long as this service remains available on the website.
Right of access and/or deletion
When you share personal data, you have the right to know which data the organization collects and may request to have it deleted.
If you have questions about your personal data or wish to have it deleted or reviewed, you can contact Digital Holland at secretariaat@digital-holland.nl. We will respond to your inquiry or request within 5 working days, and your data will be deleted within 7 working days.

Technical security
Digital Holland uses technical service providers to support its website. Processor agreements have been concluded with these parties to ensure the security of personal data. All associated parties have taken appropriate measures to guarantee technical security.

The main rules for handling personal data are laid down in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens – AP) is the supervisory authority responsible for monitoring compliance with the GDPR.
